The 24th Annual Pastry Competition Sponsored by Paris Gourmet was amazing. I spent 2 days photographing the 24th Annual US Pastry Competition sponsored by Paris Goumet. during which I was constantly amazed at what these chefs were able to do with sugar and chocolate. I also consumed an incredible amount of sugar…….and chocolate……and gelato……and cake……
All the work is either sugar or chocolate.
Battman
Alan Batt, better known in the culinary world as simply Battman, began his career as a photographer in 1981 shooting photos of city scenes and landmark sites of New York City. He began taking food photography in 2001, and has since become one of New York City's most recognizable culinary personalities. Battman is often seen riding his bicycle up and down the streets of Manhattan as he travels to and from photo shoots and meetings with the chefs.
