Alvaro Zepeda’s taste for good food started as a child, with the delights created in his grandmother’s kitchen.  At 17, he began working in the kitchen of a restaurant and a couple of year’s later his formal education in the Culinary Arts began at UVM-Glion. His experience has helped him develop a modern and progressive cuisine, using organic, local and fresh ingredients. His career has evolved at a variety of prestigious restaurants of haute cuisine throughout the country. Nowadays, his playground is Cielito Lindo at The Grand at Moon Palace, where his toys are the very best ingredients of Mexico and the results are astounding.

His carrer includes the best brands in mexico such as St. Regis, Nectar Restarant, Luxury Collection, Hilton, Carolina Restaurant, Posadas, Palace Resorts in Mexican caribbean for example. The main idea of Alvaro´s philosophy is to preserve the essence of the product respecting flavors adding exceptional techniques and create experience and memories on mesmerizing mexican night at his restaurant.
