The New York State Brewers Association was originally founded in 1830 as the New York and New Jersey Ale Brewers Association. Today, there are more licensed breweries in NY than at any other point in history. The NYSBA works to unify the industry in order to have continued success legislatively, ensuring a positive economic environment for breweries to thrive.
The NYSBA is the producer of the New York Craft Brewers Festivals. These festivals highlight more than 60 breweries and each stand apart from other brew fests in two ways. NYSBA festivals are fundraisers whereby profit is used to directly support the craft beer industry and these festivals are an opportunity to connect directly with the people making the beer you love. Only at NY Craft Brewers Festivals will you find brewers or brewery owners pouring the beer.
