Sweet Nature

When I saw one of Chef Genevieve Meli’s desserts I instantly imagined the dish being photographed in a park. So that’s what we did. We went around to several parks in New York City and photographed the dishes in the trees, on rocks, in the grass and in the snow. One photo, the Chocolate Truffles, was in what looked like a thousand year old tree. I had seen it once before in Central Park but couldn’t remember where. I didn’t give up and kept searching and finally found it. This was by far the most creative book I’ve done.
