The Youth Farm’s 4th Annual Summer Supper
July 17 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join The Youth Farm for their 4th annual Summer Supper fundraiser Tuesday, July 18th and support their work to provide farm-based learning experiences and job and leadership opportunities for youth and adults.
The theme of this year’s Summer Supper is ‘A Midsummer Night’s Farm Dream’ and celebrates the magical world of soil and the surrounding ecosystem that influences it and conspires with it to produce the infinite medicinal and culinary delights we savor and depend on for sustenance!
Purslane Chef Arden Lewis is preparing a three-course soil-to-table dinner inspired by the magic of microbes with the help of The Farm’s Summer Youth Tillers. Locally produced wines and beer will compliment the seasonal dinner made with locally grown foods. This year’s Summer Supper will once again take place at the communal table atop Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm.
Come for the gorgeous sunset rooftop views, delicious bites, live music and celebration in support of sustainability and education!
Tickets are $125 per person with a VIP option for $250 that includes an exclusive 1 hour cocktail hour, 5:30-6:30pm, and a walking tour of Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm, with a special focus on soil. All ticket purchases will go directly to create green jobs for youth in Crown Heights and support the farm in providing an important green space, and enriching, exciting and eye opening farm-based learning opportunities for youth and adults from around the city.
