Taste of the Upper West Side

The Taste of the Upper West Side, now in its 11th year, returns on May 18th and 19th with an lineup of more than 80 of the neighborhood’s finest chefs for a two-night culinary celebration. This festival also acts as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going back into the community and help fund selected neighborhood projects.

Taste of the Upper West Side kicks off on Friday evening with its Summer in the City event under the grand tent. Guests will enjoy an open bar with unlimited wine, spirits and music by DJ Phresh – all centered around innovative seasonal food from approximately 40 of the Upper West Side’s most sought-after restaurants. The event starts at 7:00pm; tickets are $115 per person or 2 for $195.

On Saturday, the Best of the West event will be the premiere of a unique section dedicated to signature bars and mixologists, all preparing one-of-a-kind cocktails. Best of the West Honoree Chef John Fraser will be serving tastings from Michelin-starred Dovetail, along with 35 other Upper West Side restaurants, including The Leopard at des Artistes, The Milling Room, RedFarm, Rosa Mexicano, and Crave Fishbar. Live music returns this year, with Joe Battaglia & the New York Big Band. General admission tickets are $145 each or 2 for $260 with 7:30pm entry; VIP tickets are $235 with 6:30pm entry and other perks.
