SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival

The 9th annual SUMAQ Peruvian Food Festival, returning to the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, will host more than 20 restaurants and top chefs from both New York and Peru serving up authentic Peruvian cuisine. Food and drink specialities including ceviche, empanadas, tamales, Peruvian creole, papa a la Huancaina, churros and more will be priced between $2 and $15.

In addition to the food, attendees will also enjoy live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, kid’s activities, plus music, dance & cultural performances showcasing Peruvian folklore.

Event hours are 11am-8pm both Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine.

General Admission tickets may be purchased online through the Cradle of Aviation’s website; $15 for adult and $7 for children (2-12 years old) plus a processing fee. You can also purchase the same day of the event for the same price. All tickets include admission to the Museum.

VIP Admission tickets are $120 includes a three-course menu by Masterchef Mercedes Salazar Luna that consists of 7 dishes from different regions of Peru and traditional drinks including a famous Pisco Sour. PLUS…premium reserved VIP seating location inside the museum hall, preferential seating at the live cooking demonstrations.
