The Museum of Food and Drink is hosting From Sprinkles to Sundaes: The Evolution of Ice Cream in America on Thursday, August 31st. Join them to explore the history and culinary creativity of ice cream.

James Beard Award-nominee Stella Parks will be celebrating the release of her debut cookbook, BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts, with everything ice cream! Along with Max Falkowitz of SAVEUR Magazine, Stella will tell the story of ice cream saloons in New York City, discuss the history of ice cream sandwiches and chocolate sprinkles in Brooklyn, and demo a giant batch of toffee.

Following the talk and demo, there will be a BraveTart book signing, an ice cream sundae party featuring Häagen-Dazs with toppings made by Stella, and beer from The Brooklyn Brewery.

Doors open at 6 pm. Program begins promptly at 6:30.
