Slice Out Hunger’s $1 Pizza Party

Celebrating 11 year’s, Slice Out Hunger’s $1 Pizza Party brings the city’s top pizzerias and restaurants together under one roof to raise money for New Yorkers in need. This annual charity event sells $1 pizza slices from some of the city’s best including DiFara, Emily, Fornino, Joe’s Pizza, Lombardi’s, Lucali’s, Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop,Two Boats, and more. More than 50 pizzerias are expected to donate over 1,200 pizzas for this year’s $1 Pizza Party at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Sullivan Street.
Organized by Slice Out Hunger and run entirely by volunteers, 100% of funds raised at the event will fund Citymeals on Wheels! Last year’s event raised $70,000 in just three hours, featuring 1,700 pizzas from over 60 of the best pizzerias in New York City.
Admission is free; doors open at 6pm and the event ends when the pizza runs out. Guests purchase $1 tickets at the door, each ticket is good for a slice, drink, dessert, or raffle ticket. Don’t want to wait in line? A VIPizza Passport gets one person to the front of the line with 10 tickets to start for $100; a VIPizza Passport PLUS gets two people to the front of the line with a total of 15 tickets to start for $150.
