Join the Jewish Food Society on Wednesday, October 3rd for their signature storytelling and tasting event, Schmaltzy: 5 dishes. 5 stories. So Jewish. Hear the tales behind the recipes, then eat the food they made you crave.
The evening will be hosted by Mitchell Davis of the James Beard Foundation. There will also be feature a cocktail and bites from Russ and Daughters Cafe as well as a conversation with 4th generation owners Niki Russ Federman and Josh Russ Tupper.

Tickets start at $250. Proceeds from the event will support the Jewish Food Society’s mission to preserve beloved Jewish foods and to celebrate new ones through events and our growing online archive of family recipes and stories from around the globe.
The cocktail hour begins 6:15pm, followed by the storytelling and tasting at 7pm.
