Pour The Core: Long Island

Now in its 8th year, Pour The Core: Long Island, the hard cider festival that showcases the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders, returns to Heckscher State Park in East Islip on Saturday, September 28th.
The event will feature more than 75 ciders produced by dozens cider makers including local favorites like BPo’ Boy Brewery and The Riverhead Ciderhouse; best-selling US brands like Citizen and Woodchuck Hard Cider; and a variety of imported ciders as well.
The Donut Eating Contest is back this year along with free seminars and live music. Some local food trucks, including Farm to Truck and Island Empanada, will be there with with food available for purchase.
Pour The Core: Long Island will also help raise funds for KiDS NEED MoRE, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children, families & young adults coping with cancer and life-threatening illness. To learn more, click: KidsNeedMore.org.
– General Admission tickets are $50 each when purchased online in advance. Admission includes a souvenir tasting cup to use for unlimited samples. Attendance at event seminars is also included. If tickets are still available, they can be purchased at the event for $60.
– VIP Admission tickets are $65 each when purchased online in advance. Admission includes sampling and seminars just like GA ticket holders. Plus, VIP attendees also receive an additional hour of sampling from 12:30pm-1:30pm, a souvenir tasting glass, private seating, exclusive VIP restrooms and access to special tastings available only in the VIP area. If tickets are still available, they can be purchased at the event for $75.
– Designated Driver tickets are $12.
