Jews on the Chocolate Trail: A Talk and Tasting

May 16 @ 7:00 pm

Jews on the Chocolate Trail will take you on a delectable journey through the Jewish history of chocolate with Rabbi Deborah Prinz.

Prinz draws from her world travels on the trail of chocolate to explore the surprising Jewish connections to chocolate in this gastronomic adventure through cultures, countries, centuries and convictions. Jews have had an appetite for chocolate, from generation to generation, and chocolate, a Jewish immigrant food, reflects Jewish resilience and resourcefulness. Tasting courtesy of Chocolate Works, Upper East Side.

A book signing follows the event.

This event is part of the Kitchen Arts & Letters series bringing you talks, demos and tasting with leading cookbook authors, chefs, and food historians.

Admission to Jews on the Chocolate Trail are $35. To purchase tickets, click: www.92y.org/event/on-the-chocolate-trail
