Hungry For Laughs

The New York Comedy Festival is teaming up with veteran restaurant critic Hal Rubenstein to present Hungry For Laughs, a first-of-its-kind celebration of New York City’s food and comedy scenes where a diverse roster of the nation’s top chefs and comedians will come together for an evening of great food, cocktails and comedy.
The evening will be highlighted by a special appearance by Randy Rainbow. Participating restaurants include Keith McNally and Stephen Starr’s Pastis, John Delucie’s Ainslie, Angie Mar’s The Beatrice Inn, Bill’s Burgers, Dos Caminos, Geoffrey Zakarian’s Lambs Club, L’Avenue, Lincoln Center Kitchen, Tom Valenti’s Oxbow Tavern, Enzo Pezone and Patrizio Side’s Peppolino, Ed Schoenfeld’s Red Farm, Andrew Loscalzo’s Salumena Rosi, and Tavern on the Green.
Two shows to choose from: For the first show, food bites and cocktails will be served at 5:30 PM with the comedy show starting at 7:00 PM. The second show will have bites and cocktails at 7:00 PM and comedy at 8:30 PM. Each comedy show will last approximately one hour.
Tickets start at $250 with VIP options offering premium seating available.
All proceeds from Hungry for Laughs will directly benefit Gay Men’s Health Crisis, the world’s first and leading provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, advocacy and support. For additional information, click: gmhc.org.
