The Great Gathering of Chefs, 10th Annual
March 17, 2020 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
On March 17, 2020, The Chef’s Connection will host the 10th annual Great Gathering of Chefs, one of the premier events in the world celebrating the profession.
This year we are celebrating Black Chefs with a tasting and wine pairing from 15 of New York’s most popular restaurants. With the inspiration coming from the new book “Toques in Black: A Celebration of Black Chefs,” the tasting will be showcasing the diversity of the chef’s cuisines.
There won’t be much Soul Food but there will be a lot of Soul.
The reception will take place at The Prince George Ballroom, located at 15 East 27th street in New York City, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the event and book sales will go to fund The Chef’s Connection Line Cook Program at Food and Finance High School, a free, week long training and placement initiative for job seekers new to the culinary industry the majority of which are people of color.
When: March 17, 2020; 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Prince George Ballroom, 15 East 27th Street, New York
