Go Africa Harlem Street Festival

Go Africa Network is hosting its annual Go Africa Harlem Street Festival, a one-day festival celebrating African, African-American & Caribbean cultures from all parts of the world. The annual event will showcase the dance, art, music, cuisine and traditional dress from countries throughout Africa and the Caribbean; local merchants offering a variety goods and services;
PLUS, the Go Africa Master Chefs will be on eight grills cooking up African, Caribbean, and American specialties during festival. Dishes such as African Goat, Jamaican Jerk Goat or Pork, Braised & Seared Chicken or Pork, Jamaican Beef Patties, Cassava, Grilled Corn, Fried Plantains and more will be available for purchase. Beer, Wine and special beverages will also be served.
The Go Africa Harlem Street Festival will take place on 116 street between Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue) and Frederick Douglass Boulevard (8th Avenue) on Saturday, July 14th, between the hours of 10am – 6pm. Admission is free with food & drink available for purchase.
