Bowl of ‘Zole

Hosted by Food Karma Projects, Bowl of ‘Zole, a new food festival celebrating pozole and mezcal, is coming to Biba of Williamsburg, from noon to 4pm on Saturday February 29th.
Curators of the event, Arik Torren and Danny Mena, are bringing together other local chefs to serve up their version of pozole – a Mexican stew made with chicken, seafood, pork and tofu. Plus there will be 10 importers of Mezcal, with 50 bottles to sample from along with craft beer, hard cider, and other spirits. Plus live music!

General Admission tickets to this all-inclusive event are $55. VIP tickets are $125 and included early entry at 12pm, a guided mezcal tasting at 12:15pm, early access to chefs, plus a copy of Danny Mena’s “Made in Mexico” cookbook.
Part of this event’s proceeds and food will got to City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization.
