Back to the Future at Delmonico's

Join Billion Oyster Project at Delmonico’s for Back to the Future, a 4-course chef collaboration dinner and conversation celebrating the history and future of New York Harbor.

Guest chefs include Billy Oliva of Delmonico’s Restaurant, Charlene Santiago of Canal Street Oysters, Corey Chow of Per Se, and Daniel Alvarez of Union Square Cafe. Each chef will prepare a course taking inspiration from seafood once abundant in the Harbor, but no longer sourced locally due to pollution and over-harvesting. Each course will be paired with wines by Familia Torres.

The evening includes guest speakers Mark Kurlansky, author of The Big Oyster: History on the Half Shell, and Miguel Torres Maczassek, 5th generation winemaker, discussing Familia Torres’ initiative to bring back ancestral grape varieties.

• 6:30: Cocktails, Canapés, & Oysters

• 7:30: 4-course seafood dinner featuring prominent chefs and wine pairings by Familia Torres.

Tickets are $425 and all proceeds from the event support Billion Oyster Project’s work in New York Harbor.
