Applepalooza + Craft Wine, Cider and Beverage Fest

September 30, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 5:30 pm

EscapeMaker.com, New York’s premiere guide to local getaways, day trips and farm escapes, is hosting its 4th Annual Applepalooza + Craft Wine, Cider and Beverage Fest on Sunday, September 30 from 11:00am-5:30pm at the Seaport District’s Piers 16 & 17.

This year’s event will celebrate New York State-grown apples and farm-made apple products including fresh-pressed New York cider, hard cider, pies and cider donuts, as well as local wines from the nearby Shawangunk Wine Trail, and other New York state craft beverages. Wineries like Whitecliff Vineyard, Palaia Winery, Glorie Winery, Brotherhood Winery (America’s oldest winery, established in 1839) and craft beverage makers like Hudson Valley Farm House Cider will be sampling, selling by the bottle, and sharing local knowledge about their fall harvest destinations and events to attendees.

Fulton Stall Market’s regular Sunday farmers market on Pier 17 plaza will be in full swing, and Applepalooza attendees can stock up on fall harvest season fruits and vegetables, specialty fruit preserves, baked goods artisanal sauces, local honey wine, and much more!

Admission to this family-friendly fall celebration in FREE! There will be fresh apples aplenty, apple treats to sample, live music, games and cider donut-eating contests for all ages. Attendees 21 or over will be able to sample and purchase (by the bottle) a wide range of craft beverages from Hudson Valley wineries and other craft beverage producers.
