8th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival
July 22 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Celebrate the cuisine, culture and heritage of Jamaica at the 8th annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, the largest celebration of Caribbean food in the city.
Centered around the world-famous Jamaican jerk cuisine, over 30 food vendors, including home cooks and local restaurants, will be serving up a variety of jerk cuisine and Caribbean offerings. In-between snacking, head over to the Jerk Cook-off Pavilion to watch the Celebrity Quick Fire cooking competition, a chefs Jerk Cook-off or one of the many cooking demonstrations.
Multiple stages serve up entertainment alongside the cuisine. International musicians play classic and modern music and performance artists keep the art of Jamaican storytelling alive. There’s also an arts and crafts village to browse and a Kidz Zone with lots of activity to keep the little ones busy for hours.
Advance tickets are $36 when purchased online and includes main and cultural stage entertainment along with cooking exhibitions and corporate giveaways. Tickets at the gate will be $46. Kids ages 12 and under are admitted for free. Food, beverages and certain kidz zone features are additional. The Festival takes place at Roy Wilkins Park, Merrick Blvd and Baisley Blvd in Queens. The festival takes place rain or shine.
