7th Annual Pour the Core: Long Island

Now in its 7th year, Pour The Core: Long Island, the hard cider festival that showcases the finest locally-produced and internationally-sourced ciders, returns to Heckscher State Park in East Islip on Saturday, September 29th. The event will feature more than 75 ciders produced by dozens cider makers including local favorites like BPo’ Boy Brewery and The Riverhead Ciderhouse; best-selling US brands like Woodchuck Hard Cider and ACE Premium Craft Ciders; and a variety of imported ciders and perries from Spain, England and elsewhere.
Each attendee receives a 5-ounce souvenir tasting glass with a 2-ounce pour line to use for unlimited sampling.
The Donut Eating Contest is back this year along with free seminars about cider, the making of cider and the enjoyment of cider. If you’re hungry for more…some local food trucks will be there with with food available for purchase. Pour The Core: Long Island will also help raise funds for KiDS NEED MoRE, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children, families & young adults coping with cancer and life-threatening illness.
Tickets are $45 each when purchased online in advance. Admission includes a souvenir tasting cup to use for unlimited samples. If tickets are still available, they can be purchased at the event for $55.

Admission includes one extra hour of tasting from 12:30pm – 1:30pm, a tasting cup made of glass, have private seating, exclusive VIP restrooms, and access to special tastings available only in the VIP area. If tickets are still available, they can be purchased at the event for $75.
Designated Driver [DD]:
General Admission DD tickets are $12. VIP DD tickets are $15 and includes an extra hour in the event beginning at 12:30pm and access to VIP seating. DDs do not receive a tasting cup but will receive bottled water.
