Seventh Annual Momo Crawl
October 7 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm$10
Join Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) on Sunday October 7, as the annual Momo Crawl returns to Jackson Heights for the seventh consecutive year! This crawl calls attention to an area featuring over 20 restaurants selling the Himalayan dumpling known as the momo, promoting local entrepreneurship, community, and culture from the Tibetan, Nepalese, and other South-Asian communities that call Jackson Heights home.
To participate in the crawl, you’ll need to purchase a $10 passport and then crawl by foot or trolley to over 20 restaurants selling momos for $1 each. The first 1,000 purchasers get the Gold embossed Momo Passport book. Later attendees will receive a color Momo Passport. Pick up your purchased passport at SFT’s table on 37th Road and 74th Street on the day of the event. Proceeds go to Students for a Free Tibet; to learn more, click: www.studentsforafreetibet.org.
