4th Annual Harlem EatUp!

The 4th Annual Harlem EatUp!, the six-day festival celebrating the food, culture and spirit of Harlem, returns on May 14th to the 20th with more than 50 chefs and restaurants. Harlem EatUp! will again host a variety of events featuring notable Harlem-based and national talent – from the culinary, fine and musical arts. This festival will represent the renewed spirit of Harlem while paying homage to its roots.

Participating chefs include Laila Ali, Daniel Boulud, Neca Bryan, Maneet Chauhan, Top Chef season 15 finalist Adrienne Cheatham, Camaron Fagan, Alex Guarnaschelli, Maxcel Hardy, Stephanie Izard, Michael Jenkins, Jelena Pasic, Marcus Samuelsson, Carlos & Markisha Swepson, Jernard Well, Jarobi White, Melba Wilson, and Geoffrey Zakarian just to name a few.


• Dine In Harlem – Harlem restaurants pair up with acclaimed chefs from across the country to collaborate on multi-course menus showcasing the unique feel of Harlem’s culinary landscape. May 16-17. Prices vary.

• The Harlem EatUp! Annual Luminary Award Dinner – An epic night with 3 celebrity chefs and awards of recognition given to pioneering fashion designer, Dapper Dan, whose Harlem atelier with Gucci recently opened; and entrepreneur and media personality, Bevy Smith. May 17 at 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Tickets: $250

• The Ultimate Grand Tasting – A feast of a tasting presenting a collection of Harlem’s favorite restaurants accompanied by an assortment of fine wines, beers and cocktails, in an all-you-can-eat format. May 20-21, 12:30pm-5:30pm daily. Tickets start at $85.

• Harlem Stroll Marketplace – Two days of fun in Morningside Park featuring a pay-as-you-go selection of good eats from notable Harlem restaurants and food vendors at the Marketplace, a wine and beer garden, Kids’ Zone, and cooking demos and performances on The EatUp! Main Stage. May 19-20, 12:30pm-5:30pm daily. Free Admission.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit two nonprofits that serve the community, City Meals on Wheels and Harlem Park to Park.
