40 Years of Zagat: A Celebration at Gramercy Tavern
Zagat turns 40 this year, and to mark the occasion, they’re releasing a special 40th Anniversary Edition of the Zagat New York City Restaurant Guide. On November 12th, the day of the book’s launch, they’ll be celebrating with a party at Gramercy Tavern, presented by American Express and its Global Dining Collection. There are two seatings – lunch and dinner – each featuring a special Gramercy Tavern tasting menu as well as drinks from Perrier Jouët and Tequila Don Julio.
The lunch will offer a three-course menu, featuring a Perrier-Jouët Champagne bar and oyster pairing, and cocktails curated by Tequila Don Julio cocktail. The event will feature a special conversation with Danny Meyer, the restaurateur and founder of Union Square Hospitality Group and Shake Shack, and Chris Stang, the CEO of Zagat and co-founder of The Infatuation.
Lunch is $135 + taxes & fees
The dinner will feature a cocktail hour and five-course tasting menu by Gramercy Tavern’s celebrated executive chef Michael Anthony, and includes wine pairings, a special Champagne tasting and pairing with Perrier-Jouët Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, and cocktails curated by Tequila Don Julio, and an evening of special celebration.
Dinner is $315 + taxes & fees
