3rd Annual Taste of the East Village

Hosted by the Cooper Square Committee, Taste of the East Village, the outdoor food festival that celebrate the neighborhood’s diversity, returns to East 7th Street between Cooper Square and 2nd Avenue on Saturday, October 6th from noon to 5 pm.
A $25 ticket gets you a four tasting plates from any of the 20+ participating restaurants.
Restaurants including newcomers like The Eddy, Fry Guys, Ho Foods, Huertas, Maharlika Filipino Moderno,Virginia as well as returning restaurants like Al Horno Mexican Kitchen, Brick Lane Curry House, Le Petit Parisien, Narcbar and Porsena. Dessert venues such as Davey’s Ice Cream, Insomnia Cookies, Sweet Generation Bakery, and Veneiro’s will also be there.
The first 350 attendees will receive a gift bag containing complimentary appetizers or drinks at many of the participating restaurants. The festival will also include live entertainment from local musicians, DJ, and cultural groups.
Tickets are $25 when purchased online. They will also be on sale for $30 on the day of this rain-or-shine event.
Taste of The East Village is The Cooper Square Committee primary fundraiser this year. Your support helps to sustain their programs, including affordable housing preservation, tenant rights organizing and counseling for residents and small businesses, greening and resiliency and social services.
