33rd Annual GrowTogether Conference

Come celebrate the official kick-off of the community gardening season in New York City at the 33rd Annual GrowTogether Conference: Sustaining Garden Legacies. Hosted by GreenThumb NYC, the day will be packed with more than 30 workshops on garden related topics including: food systems education, vegetable growing techniques, and designing your community garden for the present and future. The conference will also include a panel discussion on ways to sustain your garden legacy. For the kids, NYC Parks Bronx Recreation will have many activities including; indoor bowling, hula hoop contest, basketball, arts and crafts, table games and raffle prizes. This year’s keynote speaker is Tony Hillary, Founder and Executive Director of Harlem Grown.

Pre-registration admission is $5 per person, free for kids 12 years old and younger. Admission is $7 at the door.
