Food Tank Summit

The 2nd annual Food Tank Summit NYC, focusing on food loss and food waste takes place on Wednesday, Wednesday, October 3rd, at New York University’s Vanderbilt Hall, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The theme for this year’s Summit is “Focusing on Food Loss and Food Waste.”

This all-day event will bring together more than 35 different speakers and panelists from the food and agriculture field. Researchers, farmers, chefs, policy makers, government officials, and students will come together for interactive panels, fireside chats, and farmer spotlights.

2018 speakers include: Dan Barber of Blue Hill At Stone Barns, Chris Cochran of ReFED, Karen Hanner of Feeding America, J.J. Johnson of Ingrained Hospitality Concepts, Robert Lee of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, Marion Nestle of New York University, Danielle Nierenberg, President of Food Tank and about 30 others.

Tickets include breakfast, coffee/tea, snacks, lunch, and networking opportunities.
