23rd Annual Bid Against Hunger

On Thursday, October 19th, City Harvest will host the 23rd Annual Bid Against Hunger, its signature Fall tasting event at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Meet and greet over 50 of New York’s top chefs, restaurants and mixologists and sample their signature creations. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive, one-of-a-kind items in the live and silent auctions and enjoy the musical entertainment throughout the evening.
This year’s participating chefs including Scott Conant of Fusco, Carmen Quagliata of Union Square Cafe, Missy Robbins of Lilia, and City Harvest co-chair, Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin. The tasting will also serve dessert from Del Posto pastry chef Justine MacNeil, Zachary Golper of Bien Cuit, and creameries Ample Hills and Ice & Vice. The “GZ’s Speakeasy” VIP Room will be hosted by Chef Geoffrey Zakarian of The Lambs Club.
Ticket prices start at $500 per person with VIP ticket options available. Proceeds from Bid Against Hunger will help support City Harvest’s efforts to deliver good, nutritious food to New Yorkers in need and build local communities where residents have regular access to affordable, fresh and healthy food. Last year’s Bid Against Hunger was a record-breaker, raising more than $1.5 million to help feed hungry New Yorkers.
