14th Annual Taste of Hope

Taste of Hope, the American Cancer Society’s signature culinary, wine, and spirits fundraiser, returns the Metropolitan Pavilion with more than 60 of the city’s top restaurants and beverage vendors. Guests enjoy a walk-around tasting where they can sample signature dishes, premier wines & spirits, and inventive cocktails. The evening will also include a silent auction.
Now in its 14th year, Taste of Hope raises money for the Hope Lodge; a place where cancer patients and their families can stay while they are getting treatment in NYC.
Participating restaurants include Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse, Boulud Sud, Calle Ocho, Hunt & Fish Club, Jing Fong Restaurant, Jora, Lavo, Loi Estiatorio, Magnolia Bakery, Motel Morris, Nick’s Lobster House, Nobu Fifty Seven, Otto’s Tacos, Porter House Bar and Grill, Sarabeth’s, The Seafire Grill, STK Steakhouse, Sweetcatch Poke, TAO Uptown, Toloache…just to name a few!
This year’s Taste of Hope celebration recognizes Culinary Honorees, Chefs Michael Lomonaco, Chef & Partner of Porter House Bar and Grill, and Ralph Scamardella, Chef & Partner of TAO Group Restaurants; Otto Cedeno, Founder of Otto’s Tacos as the Corporate Honoree, and Dana Cowin, former Editor-in-chief of Food & Wine Magazine, as the Survivor Honoree. CBS News’ Chris Wragge is back to emcee.
General Admission tickets are $200 and includes the tasting and open bar. VIP tickets are $275 and includes the tasting, open bar, VIP gift bag and early entrance at 6pm. The event, hosted annually by the Taste of Hope volunteer committee, has raised over $1.8 Million to support the American Cancer Society’s mission and goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem.
