My tattoos are a partial sleeve of cooking gadgets- slotted spoon, spider, meat mallet, measuring spoons, peeled and whisk. I chose the tools that are close to my heart and always in my hands. My first tattoo but definitely not my last, it is a representation of my passion for cooking visible for all to see whether I’m in the kitchen or not.
I got them done at Outer Limits by Will Thompson. From design to done in six hours, $500.
Finding an artist whose previous work inspired me was the biggest challenge. I scoured the Internet for hours after asking several friends and family members for recommendations, but stumbled on Will’s work and just knew he was the artist I wanted to work with. The best part has been the continued awesome reactions. Everyone has commented on how wonderfully detailed it is and that’s what I knew Will could accomplish for me.
What if I didn’t really like it??? But when I told Will (tattoo artist) I wanted a small piece on my arm he said “your arm is an oceanfront property. Don’t build a shack in that land and try piecing together a mansion. Build the f@#%ing mansion!” So I took his advice.
