Anastacia Song was born in Flushing, Queens, NY and grew up on both the east and west coasts of the country in cities including New Brunswick, NJ and Los Angeles, CA. After receiving her degree in Business Economics, Song followed her heart towards a career in the restaurant industry in both the front of house and back of house holding positions as a bartender, bar manager, beverage director, general manager, pastry chef, executive director and sous chef.
As the sous chef at Davio’s Manhattan, Song describes her managing style as tough, but fun. She enjoys pushing her team to grow as individuals, chefs and as a team but receives genuine pleasure from seeing them happy. Her expertise is beverage pairing, specifically Bourbons & Whiskies as well as cocktail creations.
Song enjoys dining at her favorite restaurants, Clydz, in New Brunswick, NJ, and Sauce in New York, NY. Her culinary favorites include Chefs Grant Achatz, Thomas Keller and Claudia Fleming. In her spare time, Song enjoys snowboarding, drawing and playing video games. She has traveled to Europe, visiting France and Italy, though Italy was her favorite destination.
