This week I went to the Spice Market in the Meatpacking district to photograph Pastry Chef Eric Brack’s dish for “Crossing Borders”. This was his first time to have a dish of his published so besides being excited he was a bit nervous. I set up my equipment and we went to the kitchen where he was going to put his dish together. There by the dish that was full of these green things only 5 minutes before ( I can’t divulge what it was because it’s a secret until the book comes out) was one of his kitchen staff with the last piece going into his mouth! I guess no one told him “Don’t eat the green things” Eric kept his cool and fortunately had more green stuff that he could fry up.
